Having mastered both steambent and stave drum construction from the widest range of hardwoods, our continued research lead us to nature’s perfect resonator - Quartz. Already used in triangles, xylophones and woodwinds, Cask Drumcraft has now harnessed the power of Quartz for our new line of Quartz Core Snare Drums.
Quartz Core Snare Drums by Cask are made with a high purity, extremely resonant Quartz Crystal core inserted into the drum shell using our patented interlock design. There is no glue used in the process, each Quartz Crystal Core is floating directly in between your choice of tonewoods and resonates freely with the rest of the drum shell.
When combined with your choice of woods for tone, the Quartz Core Snare Drum provides the broadest tuning range and the most sensitive drum available.
